Our showroom in Amsterdam
At The Shoe Care Shop, we care about and for shoes. From our showroom and workshop in Amsterdam, we offer personal shoe care advice, a selected range of premium shoe care products and our hand polished shoeshine service. With over 12 years of experience, we specialise in products from brands such as Saphir Médaille d’Or. We use these products ourselves every day and have polished more than 2000 pairs of shoes for customers.
Our Amsterdam showroom is available by appointment only. This allows us to give each customer the time and attention needed. As a small team, we have limited availability each week, so please book your appointment in advance.

Personal service
We may be an online shop but we believe that a personal approach makes shopping online much more pleasant and the chance of finding exactly what you need much higher. That is one of the reasons that, in addition to our webshops, we have also opened a physical showroom in Amsterdam. Are you in the neighbourhood and want to drop by to see a particular product? Send us a message via our contact form, and we will make sure that the product is ready for you in our showroom. If you want to simply say hi and have a cup of coffee our doors are of course also open.
Shoe shine service
At The Shoe Care Shop, shoeshining is at the heart of what we do. Every pair is treated by hand with care, patience and attention to detail. We use premium products such as Saphir Médaille d’Or to clean, nourish and polish the leather, always aiming to bring out the best in each shoe.
Because every pair requires time and focus, our shoeshine service works by appointment only. Our shoeshine bar is not open every day, and as a small team we can only take on a limited number of shoes each week. This allows us to give every pair the attention it deserves, instead of rushing through the process.
Whether your shoes need a fresh shine, a deeper treatment or a little extra care before a special occasion, we are happy to help. Please book an appointment in advance so we can reserve a spot for your shoes.
